Default Tune Cats ROCK!!!!

I want to start by saying I have been using Tune Cats and and Edit for years.

About three years ago one of my friends lost a link while loading his 96 Vette with a tune and he tossed a back up computer in he had from a wrecked car. He has always had issues with the PCM out of the wrecked car so he dropped it off for me to check out. Every thing kept coming back to a bad PCM.

I still had his old PCM laying around I just had not sent it off the Andrew to re-chip.

So a while back I noticed Tune Cats had a recovery feature. I used it on a LSx car that I had lost comunications with and and it saved it.

So Just for giggles I tossed the three year old dead PCM in the car and hit recovery and choose the file I wanted loaded in it. Low and behold it forced its way into the Dead PCM and revived it! Now this PCM would not comunicate at all before I tried this and now it is Alive and kicking running good and no codes present!

Way to go Tune Cats!

Anyone know if the 0bd2 tunercat (Jet DST) have the same features, I keep contemplating ordering it but haven't decided to bite the bullet.

It should have even more features. It was developed by the same folk that developed TunerCat for the OBDI LT1s. They sold it to Jet for (I hope) lots o' money. I have seen it; it makes my LT1Edit look like a child's app. Which it actually is, unfortunately.
