Default do not buy anything from ebay seller kmjperformance

i bought a optispark from them and 2 months later it died

i then was response able to pay shipping both ways for a replacement

so after talking to the guy and explaining this was for a customers car and needed the replacement asap he informed me that it would be there by the end of the week (that was fine)

so i shipped it out express mail cost me 50 dollars so ited be there next day

and sat by the doors waiting for this part to come back in

a week and a half later i called to find out what happened to my part and they informed me that they where going to ship it today ....A WEEK AND A HALF LATER THEY ARE SHIPPING IT OUT!

and all the while hoping they dont send me another crap distributor

kmjperformance sells all kinds of parts for all kind of years of cars so im warning you not to buy anything from them unless you want broken parts and the worst warranty ive ever seen

every one here has helped me with my car problems just wanted to save a couple people from getting Royal screwed

Hmm....kinda reminds me of Chandler Motorsports optisparks.

This thead is in the wrong section, fyi.
Sorry to hear about your issues, it's never fun to deal with broken stuff that you pay good money for.

It's quite possible u installed it improperly or yes it had an issue , I doubt they make them theirselves lol , very common to have new opti issues, chances are theY had to order u another once getting yours back.. If it's for a customers car quit screwing around with peoples time and money and Go buy one from advanced auto parts ... If it fails they have one next day DUH! Got my cardone select opti from the over a year ago with lifetime warranty , no probs yet on my daily driver. Troll

That's why it only takes a few seconds to look though the threads and see that everyone says to buy an ac delco opti and not to cheap out because you will be replacing the cheap one fast

The general consensus is stick with an Original GM unit or Delphi (which is an original unit rebranded) unless you have a need to spin 7k+ rpm

Ya man! GM Crap is the way to go! $400+ for something that will last maybe a few thousand miles on average! My Chandler unit is still going strong after 8k miles. Have several buddies with them and going strong one of which is after 40k. Went through 3 GM opti's in a year before I went Chandler! Maybe it was just me running to close to the 7kRPM line! Oh wait, I redline at 6400...

WOW! Ignorance is bliss....so I guess the 500,000 miles I got out of my two original units was a fluke huh? Ever thought that since your post is in the very minority it is your lack of mechanical ability, or maybe that after doing it 3 times you finally figured out what the hell you were doing? Oh and where are you paying $400+ for an opti? All day long out the door shipped to yours for $325

Yeah my last opti lasted 202,000 miles. It's well worth the extra money over those dead in the box chinese ones
