This is it, I have only two days left to see if I can make it to the shoot out, with being at work 7 frickin daze a week I have no time, Just simple things takes hours to do. I want to be done by Tuesday so I can rest on Wednesday for the trip on Thursday. What I have left:
1 Install the rear battery disconnect switch. Not Happening
2 finish installation of the new hood. Done!
3 have the car aligned
4 fix a water leak at the pump. Done!
5 switch street tires to track tires.
6 Have a couple of head studs leaking.
7 Install shift light. I have it in my hand..
8 Paint stripes on hood. Half way there

I'm on my way to KY right now. Driving the TA and already broke down within the first hour lol. Lost power to the fuel pump but was able to switch to the second fuel pump. Thank goodness for Lonnies dual walbros! Harness got pinched by the torque arm when I hit a big bump. Fixed it in a auto parts parking lot. Lots of more road to travel.

I remember last year we broke down 2 hrs away from bowling green. Had to stay in a hotel in evansville since it was getting late.

The drag strip is closed on Friday. Weill be having the car show from 12-5 on Friday afternoon at the Holiday Inn then pre-game festivities will commence in the parking lot more than likely. The race is on Saturday from 8-5. You are welcome to take as many vids and pictures as you like. All we ask is that you don't interfere with the official media guys, especially GM High Tech.
I will bring my accessory bracket for you if you are still interested.

I wanted to bring my dyno, but neither the hotel nor the track is cool with providing an electrical outlet.
Oh well, 1 less thing to carry.
I have to thrash to get ready too. I have to install the clutch and a sfi bellhousing. It also needs an alignment and something went wrong with the brakes
. I will do everything I can to be there. I don't want to miss the shootout again.
