My car is all back together. Mail in tune from madz or madtuner as he's called now for basic bolt ons and emission delete. Car runs great. Rpms seem to run alittle high but I guess that's normal with the power tuning ? Any thoughts , over all very happy just curious.

I was actually wondering this very same thing myself. My car seems to run and perform flawless, but how would I know if I am actually leaving HP on the table without paying $$$ for another dynotune....I guess that I will never know unless I step up with the $$$ for another tune.

Mail order tunes are to get you by till you can get on the dyno. And the dyno is.used to tune the car and not an actual hp or tq meter since most can be effected by the operator and settings. I would.save and get a good tune. My TBSS picked up 35hp and 40 ftlbs with a dyno tune. It had a Pcm for less mail order that sucked big.time. my nitrous car picked up almost the same. I only use mail order when im in a bind and need to drive the var before the dyno tune can be done.

For a basic bolt on car I don't think a dyno tune is needed. Most of the good tuners are able to provide a decent tune, I doubt you would pick up much more on a dyno tune. I need to run mine on the dyno again since I've made sone changes. Based on the mph and race weight I'm pretty sure I'm in the 370+whp range, and this is just on a pcmforless mailorder tune... For more common setups like mine I think these guys can get pretty close with mailorder.

Now I never had my car dyno'd prior to madz;s tune but here is my car with dyno sheet after I had my mail order tune.
