Thanks! You aren't the only one looking forward to some numbers, I am too. I thought about going with a lsx swap but just decided not to and to go with a FI lt1.

That looks familiar! Nice build. My blower is growing into the F1C bigger brother this winter.

That's not to far then. I might be going by you next week since i have to go up to Portage, IN for work. Have you heard anything about them reopening Gateway? I drive by it everyday and haven't seen any activity in quite a while on it.

Yes, it is official. Gateway is reopening next year. NHRA has added them back to the National Event Schedule for October of 2012.

I missed that then. I wonder who bought them. I know the old owner owed a couple million in back taxes to the city of Madison. That's awesome they will reopen though.

I found the article that talks about it. A group is leasing it for one year.

Yea, I saw it in a couple STL websites. One of the investors is an old NHRA/Indy driver. They are leasing the track/property for a year. I thought one guy said that part of the contract, was that they had to be opening/running before the end of this year. That'd be nice.

Yeah i was talking to a coworker today and he said they were supposed to be up and running by October. It'll be nice to see it up and running again.

I wanted to go with a aftermarket head. I wanted one that would flow well and fit my cc size i wanted. I knew trickflow's flow good and they make a good head too. I could of went with others but i choose not to.

Not much new on the build. Still waiting on the rotating assembly to get here so i can get that going. Sounds like it should be here in the next few weeks. Got some miscellaneous stuff in like gaskets, fuel injectors, fittings and hose for AN Conversion for coolant lines. Meth kit will be here tomorrow. Getting ready to order the McLeod Street Twin Clutch Kit and the rest of the items for the 24x conversion. Will post some pics when some items come in.

Well i see UPS can't do anything right. They delivered my pistons, head gaskets and meth kit to the wrong address. At least the owner brought them over to me today so that is a relief. Diamond only sent me 6 wrist pins too so have to call them Monday and see what they hell. Here are some pics of the pistons.

I am hoping it will be pretty badass once i am all done. I'm ready to get some of the work done too!

Ordered the parts from EFI Connection on Monday. Went with a TPIS timing cover with the BBC seal since i am using a BBC outer diameter hub and went with a new harness. I looked my harness over on Saturday but didn't like how some of the wires looked and the age of the harness itself. Mike called me promptly after i submitted my order and we went over what all i needed on the harness. It was a very simple process and Mike was easy to talk to with.

Here are a few more pics of the items i have gotten in. As you can tell you don't see any connecting rods, that is because a "supporting vendor" can't seem to get my rotating assembly order correct. I lost 4 months due to their original issue with my order and now they sent me the wrong rods. I am glad i specifically asked them earlier this week did they order the correct rods and they sad yes and then i see they didn't...Enough of my rant. My order from EFI Connections will be here tomorrow. I'm ready to see that one come in.

Got everything from EFI Connections less the new harness but I am very pleased with the quality of their items. After talking with my builder today he convinced me to go ahead and go with the H beam Compstar rods i was already sent.
