No i removed the A/C back when it was a NA car. Now i'm trying to decided if i want to keep the heater in it or take it out. I'm leaning towards leaving it in for now.

Got an email from AI about my intake i sent in. It had previously been ported so i sent it in to see if it needed to be ported anymore but mainly to see what the alignment was going to look like on the Trickflow heads. My options are either to keep my existing ported intake and have AI cut the flanges to lower the intake toward the heads and elongate the bolt holes or sell the intake as is and start from scratch with a unported intake and let them fully ported it and cut the flanges. I am leaning towards just starting from scratch and selling the old intake. Wanted to see if i could get some opinions from others. The cost differential between the 2 options is around $200.

Let them carve up a new one for you. Making the other intake work sounds like a mess. I had to spend a ton of money on my current intake after a sheet metal one I bought turned out to be junk.

That is what i was thinking was the best option. I don't mind spending the money on a new intake.

I would definitely just start with a new intake. To me the extra difference in cost is well worth it.

I decided that's the route I'm going to go. Just have to see how much this sets me back on my time frame. I'm sure I will now miss my March time frame and possibly April.

After talking with AI today it sounds like I should still be able to hit my target time frame.

Thanks man! I'm ready for it to be done. Still waiting on the intake to come back. That is the main thing i am waiting on. Once that comes back i can get the engine back in the car and work on mounting the FMIC and run the piping and install the meth system. I am debating on whether to keep the gm style slave cylinder or switch over to a McLeod slave cylinder. I do need to get a high amp alternator still. I am thinking of going with a PowerBastards alternator.

I had a very fun time with the procharger crank spacer with the BBC hub. Took a few weeks at the machine shop and then a new piece of aluminum to cut a new spacer in the end. Let me know if you need the correct measurements I know them by heart now.

I gave the spacer and hub and damper to a friend who does that type of work and he got it done for me after we measured the correct length. You would think they would make a spacer that would be the right dimensions for the aftermarket hubs/dampers. Thanks too!

I am having Ed Hutchings do my initial tune for me but will get a dyno tune once everything is good.

Motor is installed, procharger is installed, FMIC is installed and piping ran. I need to figure out what I am going to do for the inlet side still. Am going to install my dual fuel pumps this weekend and get them wired up and finish wiring up fuel and boost gauges. Need to get initial tune still too. Some good progress has been made.

Thanks Jason! The Kooks look great and fit great also.

I ordered the LT1 Air Inlet Assembly from Brutespeed so that should solve my inlet piping that I needed still.

Damn, your building the motor I was planning. I may go turbo, but a procharger is just so nice and seems alot easier compared to building all of the turbo piping. Build looks awesome man, I'll be keeping a close eye on this build

I had always wanted a procharged car and finally decided to take the plunge and do it. Turbo cars are fun too just require more work. Thanks too man. I'm going to try and posy some bids once it is up and running and try to get a video of the dyno tune.

I hear that about more work, I have been researching for about 2 years. I'm waiting on an answer from the guy that's building the Whipple, but if I don't hear a price range or a timeline I think I'm going with a Procharger since you can pretty much bolt them on.

Back to this sick build, when do you think it will see the dyno?
