What Coverters are you guys using?
My new TC for the TH350 swap got here this morning and got me wondering what you guys run. I decided not to go with any of the names you hear on here all day and try something different but proven in a few cars I know.
So what are you using and whats your best 60ft.

Custom 10" spragless Trans-Spec 3700 stall nitrous converter. Only track time I have with this setup it was cutting best of 1.8's while spinning the **** out of the ET drags past the 60' and my 3.23 gearing does not help one bit getting out of the hole. The next day we came to the realization that the simplest thing was the problem, High high tire pressure. This all renders my post useless, but they build a lot of converters for rail cars and such. When is your car going to be up and running with the TH350 Mike?

I plan to get an ATI Treemaster for my build. I have heard nothing but good things about them both on the track and the street.
Don't see them too often on LT1s for some reason.

I know Rick Abare runs one, as do Mike Harris and Pat Gish so I would say they are popular where they are appropriate.
I would not go putting one in a primarily street car that sees track time though, a primarily track car that sees some street time sure.

ATI 8" Treemaster 4200 non-lockup here. It's a little tight for my low torque 350; best 60' is 1.46 at 3800 lb race weight. It flashes to 4200 on the launch.
Mike Harris runs the same one behind his solid roller 383; best 60' of 1.34, also at 3800 lbs. His motor flashes it to 5000-5200.
You may be surprised at how snappy these little 8" converters feel in driving around. Much better than a 9.5" 4200 stall.
