Damn there are sooo many mom jokes that can be used here in this thread, but out of respect to u all i wont use any of them lol. My mom took a ride to Wallmart to get some groceries she loved it...until we left the store at about 8:30pm, turned the key security light came on vats system locked it up tight. Had to tow it home. That really sucked! She wont ride in it anymore. Now i have to use my wifes 05 AVEO embarrassing!!!!!!!!!!!

Last week when when her car was down, she went with me to get parts. Dad is a car guy though, so she's used to loud cars and semi reckless driving.

My Mom had to borrow my 96 z28 for 2 days when i was replacing a tranny seal in her 04 Z06 (my old z). When i went to drop her car off and pick my car up she asked how in the world can this car be faster than a z06? I simply said money and time mom, and blood sweat and tears along the way. She then told me that she went around a corner and slide the car out and it freaked her out a little. She then asked me why there was no traction control. That made me crack up big time. She keeps asking when were going to swap again..lol

Is anyone sick of being asked questions like "you spend a lot of time working on that Trans Am and it still sounds like it is not running right" or my favorite "I always see all these car part boxes but yet you have not bought a muffler for that thing it is so loud..."

My mom hasnt been in the car since the day I had the car at my house looking it over before buying. Took her on a short ride babying it around where we live, but I never got on it with her in the car.

When I get her back in the car sometime I'll have to make a video because she has no idea. She thinks the 85 t/a is fast..

Back when I had my 93 TA A4, my moms used to drive it all the time. The heat or the air didn't work but she refused to drive the Cadillac to work that had air and heat. When I showed her the Firehawk, first thing she said was (Why didn't you get an automatic?)

[QUOTE=Gojira94;15570572]. Normally I'd pick her up in my DD (03 Accord). My QUOTE]

same DD. 03 Accords rock...and dont need a timing belt...I may keep this thing forever.

My Mom has never been in this car but I used to trade her my 00 Formula for her Pick up when I needed it to tow my snowmobiles in the winter.

I took my mom for a ride in my 97 Z28 once. Heard from others later that she "nearly pissed her pants". Gave her a ride in my 98 Z28 that I had about 5 years ago. She seemed to like that one though. I guess the lt1 is just a little too loud and too rough for her.

Just my dad left, but when the TA was stock he would drive it time to time. In his 70s now, so we wont ride in it or the C6 because it's not comfortable, likes the hell out of my truck though.

I drove my mother like two miles in my car once, went about 1/4 throttle and she told me to "cut it out". If she only knew...
