Take your mom for a ride in your LT1 lately?
I never make threads like this but I had to brag on my mom today. Her 66th birthday was yesterday and I took her to lunch today to celebrate. Normally I'd pick her up in my DD (03 Accord). My wife has the Accord today because she sold her Corolla to trade on a Sienna some friends were selling, deal going down today.
I sheepishly apologized and told my mom we could take her car around the corner to lunch but she wouldn't have any of that. She said it was fast and rode nice but asked when was I going to put a muffler on it. I told her it already has two.
So... if your mom is cool enough to ride in your F-Body, post a pic. I wish I'd taken a picture of mine earlier but didn't think of it until now...

I actually did take my mom on a ride on saturday!
She wasn't a fan.
Told her it was her last ride in it and to enjoy it. She said it's too loud. I offered her a chance to drive, but she said no.

A couple of years ago when I picked up my TA I took my mom for a ride and she loved it. She used to DD a 1967 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed so I let her drive it. She had a blast and wanted to buy one, I was cringing the whole time and I don't think I'll let her drive it again.
I also have some pictures of her at Great Lakes Dragaway back in '65 racing my dads 1964 GTO down the strip. Needless to say I had a interesting childhood when it came to my folks cars.

ditto, I should let her take it for a spin some day too. my dad has drivin it before but it had alot less power then, not that he stepped on it anyways. hell I should let my bro drive it too, hes rode in it many times but I've only really floored it once w/ him in the car and he was blown away.

Wow I must be mean, I cant remember when any family member has been in my camaro. Now that I think about it I think Ive only had GF's in it and the only other person that Ive let drive it is my friend (trans builder) Love the part where the OP told his mom it has two mufflers, classic.

I've taking my mom for a ride a couple times in my camaro. She use to get mad cause I would do a burnout in the driveway or when I would leave for work I'd leave the driveway sideways onto the street lol. Even took a video of me leaving marks down the driveway lol. She wasn't to happy bout that, saying "your messing up my drive way". I have one pik of my moms in my camaro at the gas station. Can't upload cause I'm on my phone. I wish I could still take her for rides. Use to tell her I'd take her for a ride through the mountains with the t-tops off....

Last time I had my mom in the car was before I even had my license. Was permit whipping it to get some lunch when a punk in a fox body pulled up at a red light. I proceeded to put it sideways through the first 2 gears and blow the doors off of it. My mom was was scared shitless. She called my dad to pick her up after lunch and has never been in the car since
