i went ahead and ordered a chandler motorsports opti.
i just want to verify if the opti is the bad part.
if it is then il buy and acdelco in a few months.
i am in a hurry to fix this issue. cant live without my z.
plus its my DD. even after replacing it. i get the same symptons.
then it must be something else. after that i will take it to a local fbody shop here in dallas, TX. have them take a look at it.

just curious. im planning on swaping my LT1 to a LQ9 or LQ4.
what parts would i need to change.
im currently aware that i would need new - ls1 oil pan, k member and wiring harness.
anything else that i would need?

new Chandlermotorsports Opti installed. turns over like the previous one. didnt leave it running for a long time. pending to make a whole on the chrome intake elbow to plug in the inlet hose that comes from the opti and the connecter to the TPS is broken. waiting for the new connector and wire. then il turn on and see ya happens.
one thing i did notice is that it idles sort of weird.

If the TPS is not connected properly doesn't the computer go into some kind of safe mode with no signal from the throttle?

i have the TPS disconnected and car runs high on idle rpms, but im not sure about that question.

seems like car is running like a champ. we had a coolant leak, but its fixed. was coming from one of the radiator hoses and was going to the opti harness wire connector.
maybe that was the problem, but not sure. i need to start to document everything i do. pending to install TPS connector on saturday.

oops. let me correct myself. the TPS is connected. the correct one that has the wire f*ed up is the IAC wire.
