In 1995 the Class 2 serial data wire is included in the OBDII diagnostic connector and runs with the I/P harness (dash harness) to connector C230 (that's the blue one) cavity K. It terminates there. The fuel injection harness that mates to it has an open cavity.
GM must plan out the harness well in advance of production so that it can be thoroughly tested for things like electromagnetic interference (EMI, or RFI) and so on. I would guess that the PCM selection wasn't 100% by the time they had to send the requirements for harness production. In 1996, C230 cavity K was populated with the Class 2 serial data wire and went straight to the PCM.

If your still trying to retain EGR is it possible to use with the LS1 pcm? I guess same goes with the EVAP and AIR pump can they be used and function aswell?

Its painfully slow process with me aswell but thats great to hear! I just got my ECU back from the tuner. Parts are starting to go together but i wont start a thread until i have some things ironed out. Got any recent pics of her? Get to work guys lol...
