Dumb question, but why is your MPH down, from the previous passes?
i think that was my fault......i kinda short shifted 2nd gear on the 9.91 it was at like 7300rpm instead of 8000.......when i do that it usually affects the mph like that but not the et so much.........i couldve driven that pass better there was a few things i wouldve changed......sucked they kicked me out i know the car had 9.8x's in it.....always next year.....

Congrats Mike & RamAir95TA on your NB. I wish I could have been there I'm sure I could have improved a bit myself in that good air.

Mike, so you manually shift your 4L60E? You could've definitely had 9.8's in it. Again nice run. I keep going back to watch your vid

Congrats on your new best for both of you. I wish I could have made it out on Sat. I live about 15-20 minutes from Cecil. Maybe next time and hopefully I will have the car done to run with you guys.

Thumbs up

Congratulations, Mike! I think you know already - I am extremely happy for you! And happy for myself that I was there to watch you do it
A little deja vu for me; exactly one year ago right there I finally cracked that 10.98 with mine
You have that car so well dialed in, there wasn't much of anything left to chance anymore; great work!

Joe, Congrats to you too on the PB! I don't care how close, it's always a nice little jolt to the juices to do that

Tony, a pleasure to meet you and great talking with you.

Man it was a busy day! For not even bringing my car, I barely had a minute of rest all day - about the only one was that quick celebratory beer with Mike What a blast though - other than the LTX Shootout and the National Impala events, I've never come close to seeing such a mass of LT1 cars at a dragstrip! I was determined to help a bunch of B-body guys get some PB's, and boy oh boy, that DA yesterday sure helped out -- I think it ranged from -2200' at 8am to a high of -900' all day long!

It is so hard sometimes to realize who is who in person when i know everyone from the forum, it just clicked in my head figuring out who you were. Pat it was great talking to you as well. Its so nice to be around true LT1 enthusiests.

Congrats to you to Frank, you should start a thread and post a vid if you have one. That is very impressive accomplishment with a car of that size and weight.
