Any reason you went with the LT1 as opposed to modifying the Vortec set up?

because I could LOL Really I never liked the Vortec setup, intake and fuel injection was way to over engineered, the ECU is a POS, kind of like the LT ECU. and I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. next plan is to supercharge the truck??? muhaha (evil laugh). Working out the details to use an Eaton 90, Not looking to set any records, JUST more FUN!!!

oh man: you need to get a picture of the next project, 500 Cad with FI, and 411 ecu, Lextech has been working on his for a few years. dont know what to put it in yet but I'll think of something-----------http://www.flickr.com/photos/tinbender59/sets/72157615870890667/---------hum now what could I use??? Looks pretty sweet. I always wanted to put my other LT1 in my 98 yukon for fun.
