What's your reasoning for that?
For forced induction, yes, it can be an integral part of the tune while keeping the intake charge cool.
For nitrous, I'd say it's only a cover up for a bad tune, and is detrimental to operation with a good tune.

Sorry but:

How do stock rods fair with spray? Would I have to consider that I already make 400 to the wheels or it doesn't work like that?

stock rods can take a fair amount of abuse. to the op with the all forged shortblock- i would put some decent fuel in there and hammer the doo doo out of it.

I am running a 175-200 wet shot through a single nozzle on a LT1 intake. 4 bolt splayed 385 with AI 200cc heads and AI Baby cam. .035 quench and ring gap setup for up to 250 shot 12.4 to 1 compression. On the LT1 intake plug reading is a must due to the back cylinders leaning out. Make sure and run a colder plug. I run 3 heat range colder than stock plugs. If you do a 150 you can get away with 93 but anything over that you should go to a race fuel. I use VP 110 it burns slower and helps with detination. Also timing is very important. The rule of thumb was 2 degrees per 50 shot. With my AI heads I have found 3 degrees per 50 works best. With the effeciency of the AI heads I have found that you need to take out more timing. On a 200 shot I take out 12 degrees. My total timing is 31 degrees so on a 200 shot I have 19 degrees. The car seems to like it. When setup properly and monitored Nitrous is a great power adder but if not used properly can f**k up the best forged setup in a heartbeat.
