I think you should have done your research first and used a calculator to add up what its gonna cost you. The only thing you can use from that motor is the longblock. By the time you buy all the other parts you might as well have bought an LS1 from an fbody and bolted it in.

No matter the cost although got some killer deals I would do it again. After riding in hi powered BiG cam Ls cars its very hard to match that not to mention the manners cruising at all speeds..... I love my Lt1 it has taken me a long way and shut many mouths!

I can assure you this, mine definitely is not going to be a slap together! My Lt1 gave me many years of reliable service, the mystical opti NEVER was a problem it was coming time for some upgrades and I want 450-460 hp at the tire and the Ls platform will give it to me.

Truth be told though, he can work wonders with a harness.
OP, both Merv and Matt would be 2 good people to ask about anything you'd like to as far as your swap. Turbo stuff, single plane manifolds, tuning, T56, TH350, etc., they've been there, done that, and have burn marks on their garage floor to prove it.

Well maybe less then 2 years. Gota catch up and study for my MCITP and get a higher paying job. then get me another daily driver. but if i get my daily driver 1st then project would be underway.
