Glad to see how excited you are! Easiest way to check spark is to pull a plug and with the plug wire still on the plug, ground the tip on a bolt on the frame while someone cranks the car over, but make sure you are holding the boot and not the ceramic or especially the metal. Look for a spark, works best a night or in a darker area.

Opti isnt cheap, but very likely to be the cause.

instead of pulling a plug as we all know how much fun they are to swap in and out, go buy a $2 one and just pull a plug wire off

you have spark, why would you change the opti? check your fuses, try hooking up a scanner and see if you get a code, whats the fuel pressure at the rail?

hey just because it has spark doesnt mean its still not the opti, I had spark and the rotor was falling off car wouldnt start. But its always best to start with checking your ICM then your Coil Then to the opti. but if your getting spark that means ICM and coil are still good. Dont be fooled just because you got spark!

I say fouled plugs. Seen it before.

Pull a few and see if they are all sooty. I say the opti is fine.
