My car info: 96 TA, LT1 6 speed
Stock or close to stock injectors- Working on a couple deals
Suspension parts shocks rear
Lowering springs front and/or rear
Front shocks
Off road Y-Pipe, no cats
Stock pipe from Y-Pipe to Muffler, mine has been cut and butured to much
Bigger throttle body
I would like to work out a deal for a ram air set up, I currently have the SLP CAI setup.
Any suspension upgrade parts

What you really need is more HORSEPOWERRRRRRRRRRRRRR per dollar.
$500+ for an decent exhaust system? You can get a good sounding Magnaflow or Hooker Catback for $350. Pair that with some bargain LT headers, keep the SLP CAI, and get a tune. The only thing left to do after that is a cam swap and get the heads ported by Lloyd.

I'd go with suspension parts first, because that's what I did..PH rod, LCA, LCA brackets, TA, and subframes..I also went with the SLP suspension package the one that includes springs and slp bilstien shocks I think the drop will be perfect since I plan on installing headers and don't want to scrape them..Now, I havent installed these parts yet I plan to in the summer time or fal. I started with the suspension first although I do have all the engine bolts on's sitting in there boxes as well..headers, cold air kit rockers..etc..etc..

Start with suspension.. Some nice SFCs, LCAs + relo brackets... PHB if lowering the car..
I'd get the springs and shocks at the same time, don't buy springs and use stock shocks, or the other way around... Just get them all together. Aftermarket springs will take out stock shocks fairly quick I hear and doing them both at once will make things easier..
Your slp CAI probably gets the job done well for your application. (52mm TB is probably not going to yield much difference)
Putting together a nice exhaust system is what I would do next ( I got my stainless magnaflow for $170 lightly used on here). Get a nice cat-back, then work on y-pipe and headers. Once you have these things done you have a pretty good foundation for getting in to power mods..
My tax refund is going towards my block work... Unless I get really high and mighty and decide to go with a cowl hood/ ram air hood.
BTW I'm still negotiable on my price for those injectors... Send me a pm with what ever offer you think is reasonable and we can talk.. There just taking up space looking to be used so just let me know!

You most likely don't need a bigger throttle body. If you want to go the suspension route see if you can find some used suspension parts. I bought the QA1's for front and rear off the forums and saved a decent amount of money over brand new. Magnaflow catback is pretty nice. I have it on my car currently.
I see a lot of tax refunds going here.
Ok here is my plan with the Bird, I drive it everyday and enjoy the power it has for that purpose. I have always went the power approach first and never got to enjoy the handling part. So this car is going to be the oppisite, I am going to improve the handling and appearance then go for the power.
The parts I have listed are to see if anyone has some of them laying around and want to make a little cash. I am trying to help anybody get some cash and also get some decent parts for me in the process.
I really appreciate all of the great advice and prices you all have mentioned and will reference back to this in the future.
Thank you all
Albert
