I would personally get ss3600 and build the motor, cam and heads around that.

Ss3600 without a doubt, I have one in my daily driver. It drives good and you'll get used to it really quick.

I love my Yank SS3600. Give Yank a shout and tell them your plans/goals for the car and I am sure they can point you in the right direction.

I don't think you'll find as much agreement on any other subject that comes up on this forum: The Yank SS3600 is the best all around TC made for these cars. From a bone stock motor to a daily driver heads/cam or stroker, it's hard to beat.

3600 is what most do. However best thing to do is try and ride/drive a stalled car. To get an even better answer you should give us some more info on the car/plans for the car. Just a DD, weekend toy, all out race car or mix? The more info the better.

I drove my buddies car with a 4000 in it and hated it for the entire week I was driving. It IMO was just too much for a DD car. I love my 3200 but will probably go to a 3600 with the new setup.
