I'm going to be running a HotCam/1.6rr set up and valvesprings with 130lbs seat pressure, 340ish at full lift. My rockers are 3/8" studs. Should I go ARP?

I would just for peace of mind. I am actually not running ARPs though. I went with Comp Cams studs which were cheaper than the ARPs. Most aftermarket rockers wont fit over the stock studs anyways.

Upgrade them, money spent on the right parts of your vavletrain is never a waste. You get a more stable geometry and peace of mind.

I was at jegs today and picked up a set of ARP 3/8" studs. They weren't as pricey as I expected, and just like you guys said, it's cheap peace of mind.

IMO the time to go ARP is when you buy your first set of rockers, just go right ahead and buy 7/16" studs, guideplates and non-SA rockers the first time so you don't have to do it all over again when the next stage of modification comes around.

Spend a little more now and save a good bit later.

I realize it is probably too late for the OP sounds like you had the rockers and that had you boxed into 3/8" stud but I still wanted to put it in print for the next guy.

I bought too many sets of rockers for various stages of modification wasted a lot of money buying "good enough" and outgrowing it.

I would no matter what. They are really cheap IIRC, and absolutely go 7/16
