Default Nitrous bottle placement

Hey just a quick question...nitrous in the back spare tire well out of site, or the 10lb purple bottle on the bracket in between the rear seats? Doesn't the bottle have to be vented to the outside to go to the track? What are u guys doing to be leagal to bracket race? AND how many runs can u get out of a 10lb bottle spraying 50 or maybe 100 shot? Thanks. 2 weeks till our track opens. HELL YA!!!

I have mine in the spare tire well only because I leave it in the car all the time, and in MD it's illegal to have it in the car unless you are on the way to the track.

I used the spare tire well, just vent it through the drain hole in the bottom. Don't know about how many runs on a full bottle, I blew a head gasket the second time I hit it with a 150 shot

its only illegal if you get caught

and yes you want to vent it outside, if you dont, and it pops the overpressure valve, your going to be breathing sulfur oxide, which is not as bad as pepper spray, but its along those lines

Possible useful info....make sure you have the tank in the proper location too. Valve should face the front of the car, the bottom of the tank should face the back of the car.... The pick is designed to be used/mounted like that.

If you blew a headgasket spraying a 150 you're doing something wrong.

Mine is in the spare tire well with a Nitrous Outlet heated bracket and bottle mount. Blow down tube is not installed in this pic, but as previously mentioned I also have it venting through the drain plug under the bottle bracket.

In IL you can have a bottle in the car it just cant be hooked up. I have my blow down going out the drain plug under where the rear seat would normally be

Mine is between the rear seats, just reach back and open it when necessary.

Mine hit like **** and lasted maybe 3 passes in the spare tire well. Its at too much of an angle.

I would mount it in the T-top well or between the rear seats.

I had mine mounted between the rear seats. I was pulled over numerous times, and never had a problem, but I am in TX. I just made sure to purge all nitrous out of the line once I had shut the bottle, but I ALWAYS had it hooked up. They can't do anything if nothing is in the lines.
