sts kit is the most simple to use/install. Put it on LOW boost to set the timer for that ticking timebomb youll be driving with a stock bottom end...

All right.....You need to pump the brakes and do some research. You need to read this section I posted below to give you a relative idea of what you are even getting into. Force inducting a car is not cheap nor is it easy for a beginner. If you want cheap it will not be reliable, if you want reliability it will not be cheap. I'm not being a dick but judging by your very vague "I want a turbo LT1, how easy is it" description, i'm guessing you haven't the slightest clue of what you are doing and getting into forced induction should never be the first step in wanting more power in my opinion. Maybe if you explained yourself a little better we can help you and lead you in the right direction and see what kind of skills you have.

Ok sry didn't really explain myself good.. I would like to Get into forced induction I was wondering if my bottom end would hold.. or will it blow up? Isn't an LT1 a 2 bolt main? I am jot going to do it the cheap way because I want it to last.. I think I can get a kit and everything for around $3800 if that's sounds right to you.lol but I was woundering if u knew how many PSI I can run the determining factor if I want to invest in the project if my bottom end can good it that my 1 concern.. if u guys can help me with any tip or worth the money.. I know I don't want to go crazy on my bottom end at all

Dude, $3800 will buy a nice heads and cam package and have some $$ left over....and still likely make MORE power (and make it reliably) than a low boost (5-7 lbs) stock LT1 setup that's a ticking time bomb ready to blow at any point. The high compression and crappy pistons of a stock LT1 don't take kindly to boost for very long as most will tell you that have tried it. At least put some dished forged pistons to lower CR if you go turbo....and double your budget for the inevitable supporting upgrades for boost

call me crazy, but i think it would be a pretty good setup if you ran it on e85. lol

i would save my money and get a nice front mount turbo setup.
go through the motor and put in all new bearings/rings and stuff. some sort of small turbo cam. maybe run a little wider gaps on the rings. make sure to get a good tune in there and i bet you could bang out 450-500rwhp somewhat reliably. make the power early and dont spin it much over 6k. huuge torque. great street manners compared to a 450rwhp n/a setup. lots of bs tubing/hoses under the hood to keep up with though.

to pull it off you need to do everything RIGHT. no shortcuts or ebay parts, imo.

You are crazy... I bet you think that the stock short block can handle a 200 shot also huh???

i believe and have seen stock short blocks handle 150 shot for many years, but yeah most people are right a "tiny" 6-8 lbs of boost is just totally a freakin' time bomb about to blow the little LT1 into oblivion. lol...

3800 is too much. Look for a used kit you can find them cheaper
