Lt1/lt4 edelbrock intake fitment issue

I would still be interested to know from Strokeme if either aftermarket intake was ported. As I said, I understand the price per hp concern, but would like to know the technical details of the dyno testing.
I do have an Edelbrock LT1 AirGap intake on my car. I paid nowhere near what they go for new and mine was BNIB. I am interested in knowing if the AirGap can be ported to equal or out perform the ported stock intake. I would prefer to run the Edelbrock as long as it is not a huge performance disadvantage to a ported stock intake. This may be something I have to test myself but an answer to my previous question would help.

Edit: Edelbrock is 1st pic top left. Can't get pic to post so I had to post the google link. Either way looks like a good set of heads/cam could possibly get air starved.

AChotrod- thanks, it's fwhp. Muddyjimmy/96capricemgr- The edelbrock has no additional port work other than how it comes off the shelf. The mini-ram (don't quote me) tpis machines at their shop I believe. They do have a cnc mill in their shop that they machine their tb's in. So I'm guessing they just have someone pour the casting an they machine flanges etc.. I have no idea for flow numbers though. Now keep in mind anyone looking to go with a miniram intake has to buy tpis fuel rails for it (300 bucks!) cuz they are different than stock ones. I'd love to have it, but can't justify the 1200 tag that comes with it. At the time of the build I wish I wouldve gone a different route with the intake but I already had it bought and it was on the engine. Didn't feel like tearing it all apart and **** with trying to sell it for 10-15hp. Some people most defintely would but I don't see the track enough to worry about it.

Oh, found a 4th dyno sheet, tpis also ran the GM intake with my holley tb. In my first post I posted numbers with the GM and tpis tb. Anyway with my holley it peaked tq at 478.4 an hp at 538 vs the 483/543hp the tpis tb made. So basically the tb was worth 5hp and the intake about 10. But nevertheless it was more power. And with tpis tb it peaked power at 200 rpm on tq and 100 rpm higher than my holley. I've got the whole dyno sheets I'd post if I wasn't without a computer..

id be more concerned with runner cross sectional area than the volume of the plenum.....fuel isn't introduced untill the end of the intake runner so the plenum volume isn't needed to allow for atomization...........i should retract, better yet re-say what i said......i wouldn't be AS concerned with plenum volume as i would runner length/shape/size/taper.....if all we were concerned about was plenum volume i guess im going backwards because the plenum on my victor is most likely smaller than the huge log thats on the stock LT1 intake.....

Sounds like somebody is trying to back out of a race they already agreed to. Adding condition after condition is a pretty weak way to back out of a race.
How much you want to put on it?
You want in on this? I'd love to run you heads up at the shootout too.

I'm too honest to pull that kind of stunt.
See what I mean? Bad motherfuckerness everywhere! I guess if we went in a straight line all the way back to the eastern seaboard you may have a prayer's chance.

Are you actually going to make it the the Shootout this year? I remember standing in the staging lanes and everyone was wondering where you were. After all the talk last year ending in a no show, I would imagine this year will come and go without you there.
