Default nitrous question

i just bought a trans am, its got 220k miles. i wanna spary a 75 shot on it. does miles matter when it comes to nitrous ????

I would think spraying had its concerns at any type of miles

good point, i know alot of people that have been using nitrous for years on stock cars and there still running today. just didnt know if the 220k would make a difference.

75 shot is fine I would not think twice about spraying it...

Assuming the engine is running properly mechanically, throw some colder plugs in and have at it

Run a compression check. If compression checks out you could even spray it with a 150 shot.

Lol it will help seal the rings. If it was me I would blast a 150 shot through it.

Lol nope...I had 232k on a camaro I picked up and had 150 shot for over 50 passes and ran 11.6s all day. It finally blew up after I had about 20 200 shots on it.

do they even make 75hp jets???? LOL....

Been awhile since I dealt with any jet's smaller than huge....

i'd say compression check and let loose with an even hundo shot.... i wouldn't be doing it all day everyday tho. unless you like blown motors....

when my stock motor let go it punched a rod THROUGH the cylinder wall, shattered the piston into 9 million pieces. I drained the oil and 4 gallons of coolant poured out.. :-O

With such a light shot you shouldn't have any problems.

I would uses a set of good plugs. I use NGK-tr6 and never had a problem with them. What about you guys?
