I eventually plan to have Kooks fab me up some custom headers for my build since its so hard to find big primary headers for our cars.

Like previously stated. They're probably gonna wind up being $1200. My local exhaust guy welded up custom true duals with 2 dyno max bullets for less than $500. Sounded like *** on a stock internal car.

i will definately be interested in the true dual system. have their headers already and had them custom done with ball/socket flanges on the collectors instead of slip fit or 3 bolt flanges. absolutely love not needing gaskets and getting a good seal everytime!

We are getting a car on the lift today to satisfy the LTX community for dual exhaust.

Does GMMG make a dual system with an x pipe? I have to admit the GMMG is so bad *** sounding. Admittingly better than my SLP 2OTL with the Magnaflow muffler.

I don't think GMMG makes anything anymore, and I don't believe they ever offered a true dual system. I believe someone else is now building their exhaust. I almost bought a new 2OTL for my car. Somebody had one listed on EBay when I was looking for exhausts. I think they sound good. Why did you put a Magnaflow muffler on it?

Origional SLP "stainless steel" muffler rotted and couldn't replace it so I went with the closest thing.

Madhammer was GMMG's exhaust supplier. He still builds them.

an exhaust system that will satisfy an lt1 owner...hmmm..must come attached to an LSx engine.

Hope it sounds sweet! Just curious, do you have any plans for just a single catback? I hate to sound like the poor guy of the bunch, but I dont see true duals being cheap or in alot of peoples budget. Not that your products should be cheap, but your market for this (lt1 fbody crowd) is getting to be people who dont have large wallets, which is why we have an LT1!

Its not attached to an LS motor...lol. But was designed for one now we are going to make it fit or LT headers. We really build what is a real performance enchanment. There are so many Cat-Backs avalible not a market we want to get in. Dual 3" Exhaust no one else does, thats where we are going. You can't judge what other people will buy, there has been a lot of interest in doing this.

Im glad new products are being made or lt1 cars, but i wouldnt be surprised if nobody buys these for lt1. You gotta remember that 90% of people who buy lt1s, are those who cant afford an LS1. And if you cant afford an ls1, you most likely wont spend good cash on a full exhaust sytem.

I really hope you guy success with these though.

Wow Kooks, did I read correctly a few posts up. Your making the LTx dual system with a pair of 3" pipes. If so, I might be in on buying this setup just to have true dual's with 3" pipes. It would have to fit like a glove with no modifications to the underside of the car, but I might just consider removing my fully polished Corsa twin tip setup for the Kooks
