Default T400 guys here

Thinking about putting a turbo400 in my '94. what would i all need to make it work besides the obvious trans mount, driveshaft, and torque arm? will my stock starter work?

Thanks. Seems pretty straightforward. I assume you have one? How do you like it on the street?

I actually have a 4L60E (in signature), so I can't comment on the 400 on the street. I will, however, mention that I LOVE having my OD. Nothing like having a bulletproof OD trans.

If you want the speedo to work you will need to pick up a reluctor and a pick up. You will need to tweak your cooler lines or make new ones. Are you going to put a shield on it?

What are you building that you want a TH400?

A 4l60 can hold a ton of power when built right, plus the OD makes it easy to cruise in without screaming down the highway at high RPMs.

I actually just did the swap but havnt driven the car yet still more work to do. You will need the correct Flex Plate, Torque Converter, Cooler lines, Dip Stick Tube, Driveshaft Length adjusted, Tranny Crossmember, TA Mount, Shifter.

The swap is super easy to do! I havent monkeyed with the Speedo stuff yet but I did install a Gear Vendors Overdrive unit! My TH400 has a Trans Brake and RMVB too!
