Yes, it is the HOB Cog Bracket. I am very good friends with the guys at House of Boost, and my car is the one that that bracket was originally designed for.

Engine is a 10.25:1 383, AFR 210 heads, big solid roller cam. Should make 4 digits when its done.

Moser M9, narrowed 3 inches per side, back brace and adjustable LCA brackets, 40 spline gundrilled axles, Moser aluminum center section with HD aluminum pinion support, steel spool and 4.10 gear. Will be adding Strange brakes and a custom heavy duty anti-roll bar.

Very cool, think you could get me a good deal on a scratch and dent one or something? lol. $1300 bucks seems kinda steep for one but they look like a nice piece.

One thing you have to remember with that bracket is that it also includes the pulleys and belt. Price those out separately and it becomes much more reasonable.

Just got the car back from the chassis shop. Got the parachute and new anti-roll bar mounted. Now to put the motor and tranny back in and go make some hits!

Finally got the car running, to the dyno, and to the track. Unfortunately the drum speed sensor on the dyno went out, so I wasn't able to get any numbers. I also had a few little issues at the track for the first time so I didn't get any good runs in. I'll definitely fill you guys in when I do.

Got the converter back from Micke this week and decided to run a little Outlaw 8.5 race here locally last night. Ended up qualifying 6th out of 10 cars. Lost 1st round to a turbo Fox that had a perfect reaction time (he still would have beat me to the stripe, he had been running over 10mph faster than me!).

First pass off the trailer, leaving a bit conservative, 3000 rpm on the 2 step. I short shifted high gear, but it went right down broadway to my first ever 5-second 1/8th mile pass.

For my second pass I decided to add 500 rpm to the leave, and made sure not to short shift high gear. Then about 500 ft out the car in the other lane looked to have something fly off of it and it distracted me. I lifted a hair early. It would have definitely been a .77 or .78 at probably 125 mph by looking at the datalog.

My third pass was first round of eliminations. I think I was lined up a hair out of the groove, and the car was moving out really good. I was really having to drive it, as it was all over the track. Had to roll out of the throttle a couple times even. Still went almost 124 mph. Still extremely happy for only having a few passes on this combo!

Here's a shot I got after I was all packed up ready to go home.
