So you want to swap from the cheapest and easiest pcm system there is to play with to OBD2???

You are looking at needing a new timing cover CPS reluctor and shorter hub to match, different knock sensor part number, wiring harness, second design opti.

I don't see any need to add the rear O2 sensors.

What are you trying to accomplish?

There are FREE programs to reprogram and datalog the 94-95 pcm and a LOT of folks have swapped 96-97 cars to the 94-95pcm because it is so much cheaper to play with.

Well maybe i should go for a 94-95, the only reason I want to swap is because I am also swapping in a t56, but it's a 97' with an electronic speedo.

I'm told that the only way to be able to use my speedometer is to swap out my 93' pcm.

There are devices out there that will convert all this and maintain your 93s wiring and computer. The 93 uses a VSS signal but it has a drive and driven gear on the transmission. Since the new transmission has a VSS signal you just need to interpret it properly to run your speedo, this can be done by reburning the chip or fooling the computer with the appropriate signal translation. I don't have the info handy but there is a box that you can add in line that will convert the new VSS to the propper VSS the 93 Speedo uses.

Get the dakota digital box. I had to do that for my '93 after i did a gear swap to correct the speedometer. All you need is the new plug and the box I would assume after switching to a T-56. Also I sure hope you don't have a 2.73 rearend in that car or your 5th and 6th gear will be absolutely worthless. especially 6th.
