Default swapping an opti on a supercharged lt1

Does anyone know if the supercharger will have to come out to get to the opti? I've heard that from a few people but none of them have worked on an lt1 so I wanted to ask your guys opinion

That picture doesn't tell anyone anything. If the supercharger doesn't sit directly in front of the water pump or opti, I don't see why it would have to come out.

I know, It was the only picture I had saved to my phone that showed anything. I can take more pics when I get home from work. It isnt sitting directly in fron of the water pump, but im sure it would clear up more space to work down there. But im thinkin no reason to take it out if it doesnt HAVE to come out.

On Procharged cars the supercharger bracket has to come off the get the water pump out.

My opti went bad 2 weeks after I installed the Procharger. Learned this first hand.

Not sure with your brand of charger.

How does anybody get those worm screw clamps to seal and hold boost?? I couldn't ever get them to seal ..IMO their not much of any good beyond mocking up.. I had to run t-bolts on connections with any boost..
OP, if it's in the way quit over thinking it and get to unbolting..

we use t bolts for the most part. i have used ct clamps with not problems other than they don't hold up well when they are being used repetitiously.

Depends on where the blower is mounted. On the ATI P/D series setups, you don't have to touch the blower at all as seen here:

My procharger bracket shares at least 1 hole with the wp..... So in my case.... Yes....

You dont have to take the bracket off on a procharger but u will have to loosen up the bolts to get the water pump spacer off

i agree with blown you only have to loosen them up to get the one spacer out for the water pump. I had to replace my opti with the procharger was on also and only took the one bolt out.
