Default price estimate help?

Next month I'm ordering up the Ai 200cc heads cam package. Going to be useing pacesetter longtubes with cutouts, plan on doing this over the winter.spring will be the trans, and summer will be the rear end. I'm wondering about nitrous tho. Was thinking of going with a 2-300 shot. What kind of money would this cost me in internals?? Also figures since I was in there might as well go 383 as well. Any ideas?? If its to pricey I'm just going to stay n/a and be happy

Ya thats exactly what im trying to do DVSLt1 i want to get it all out on paper and triple check everything to make sure its what i want before i start tearing it apart. want to make sure my idea of going with a 2-300 shot wont be in the tens of thousands of dollars to build.
http://www.advancedinduction.com/LTX...adsCamKits.php, going to be going with the package kit from AI for sure, the nitrous was an idea for maybe down the road a little bit. The main concern is to have it up and running next summer for sure. and maybe the winter after that tearing it all down for this idea of a 200 shot. i'll be doing all of the labor myself with the help of a few friends. The bottom end is the only thing that scares me i know it should be fine n/a, but the spray is where im iffy at. id be perfectly happy running 12 flat n/a if the nitrous is going to cost me another 10 grand or so, 5 i could probably swing but 10, nah i'll stay n/a

You'll spend 10 going from the rearend all the way to the 383 internals to support a 300 shizot.
Or you could just buy joes car and go 10's without spray n/a for 10k

I think mYbe you should start with topend, fresh forged 355 and supporting mods .. You would be surprised.. If I had it to do all over I wouldn't have 5k in a 383 lt1.

for that motor described above with a 100 shot id run either a stock crank or a forged crank......scat h-beams and a good forged piston (not mahle).....

for a 300 shot on that motor........4 bolt main block is a must, good forged crank such as a SCAT or a compstar.....good set of H beams like compstars or K1's with ARP 2000 7/16 bolts......and a GOOD forged piston........wiseco, SRP, JE.....something along those lines......at that point youd be making some serious hp i wouldnt be supprised to see a 383 11.5:1 AI 200cc top end and a 300 shot make 750 to the wheel if the intake would swallow it all which is serious power and serious $$

not to mention a 300 shot even if progressively introduced is most likely going to literally remove your transmission driveshaft and rear end from the car lol

stock crank, rods and non forged pistons will absorb a 100 shot on a good tune with ease.
