If it's the car I'm thinking of, A.I. didn't do it. Look up username "INTMD8".
Also, if Dart made an LT1 block, guaranteed someone here would have it already.

There were a few GMPP prototypes for larger bore stronger blocks. Not aware of any up and running though.

AI did supply some heads and such for an over 1000rwhp turbo car. We don't really know a lot about the car though. Don't know if the boost was left turned up or how long the shortblock held.

We have begged Dart to build one for the LT1 and they said it wasn't cost effective for them. Bowtie had a limited run, but they are all gone and expensive if you find one.

I would go the iron block Bowtie for the LSx and build a monster from there. Don't know if you could make your ultimate numbers yourself, but it would be a much more straight forward build and fit into your car.

The Lt1 block is quite strong especially when you splay the mains and add a little Hard Block.

I would highly recommend you set your goals considerably lower. You'll save a lot of money in the long run.

If you really wanna get 1,200 RWHP BEFORE a 200 shot, you should spend time before money and you'll learn a big cube LQ9 power plant is the way. And you'll certainly spend big bucks.

Even if he somehow magicaly makes an lt1 that traps 180+mph there's no way in hell he'll get the power down on the street to take down the faster awd UGR cars.

Outrunning 1500 all wheel hp is almost impossible in an aero package that the Lambo has.

There is a video youtube of a blue C6 with 1500rwhp, has a chute off the back.

Shows him running for a 60 or so roll.

It spins for about 300 feet, in 100 feet of spinning against the AWD Lambo the race is over right there, the Lambo will not spin.

I have the engine for a 1000 rwhp LT1 for cheap, PM me if interested, it's all new.

Id give my left nut for a big bore LTx block, for a 427 or 454!!!! Dart dropped the ball. The rare GM block is just that, good luck finding one of those!!! Skoggin Dickey was supposed to be takin orders for a run & that never happened!! So your best bet is a 396 because youll have to go threw quite a few blocks to get one to pass a pressure test to build a bigger LTx! That being said you could hit 1200hp with twin 62mm or go up to 76mm The T88 would be overkill for twins. Then theres the AWD good luck with that. I dont know what weight the 4th gen can be stripped down too but to compete with an AWD Lambo you might need a kit supercar & LS platform! Thats comin from a guy that is a chevy nut & is buildin a 396 LTx & can do that much horsepower if I go twin turbo But I think Id like to keep my LT4 block more than a yr or 2 LoL even thev LT4 stuff is getting hard to find!

I want an LT1 that will eat UnderGround's Racing twin turbo Gallardos.
Not trying to diss you or anything but good luck..Its not like they have a whole 2 cylinder and AWD advantage or anything..Would love to see a fast as hell TT LTX build tho..Now that dude Al Harbi on youtube has a built LS7 in his 4th gen TA and has a shot of nitrous on it and he beats Gallardos, but they arent TT..

1500 rwhp Vette, roasting the tires at 120mph, you do this next to a UGR Lambo=bye bye.

383 would be better than a 396, more cylinder wall and more meat in the bottom. Or is a 396 .030 over?

Also I read that straight in mains like the factory vette block are stronger than splayed mains.....or so I think I read it somewhere.

LMAO, better start saving NOW, and ordering parts NOW because it takes those guys FORE-EVER to get **** to you AFTER you pay for it.

Lots of people have turbo knowledge, I dont know of one Nelson engine in competition or any series.

Better off picking Z8's cranium.

yup .030 over JE custom pistons Callies Dragonslayer 3.875 crank & Howards billet 5.85 I-beam rods. Not a bad way to spend $3065!!! LoL A 383 would prolly be better as far as pistons & compression heights go, but if hes goin all out then he can afford billet pistons When I worked at Borg Warner buildin T56s for these cars & transfer cases. There was a IRS 4th gen Z28 but never any AWDs in R&D LoL From what Ive been told splayed mains are strong ,But if the machine shop ***** up itll hit water jackets Guess it has to do with the degree on the splayed main caps So I found an LT4 block & that was luck after I bought splayed caps. Sold those & gonna use my LT1 block for a stock build on my SAS S10 The OP better be sure he dowel pins the mains too!!!
