LT1 block strength
. Hoping for 1200rwhp + 200 shot. How much power can the cast iron block take? I can easily go with an LSX but im the type of guy that likes taking risks and do something different. Now this will be a life investment and it needs the supporting mods (rear end, tranny) By the time you got to that level you would be starting from scratch on a motor anyway and at that level a block every other year or something could be considered maintenance.

Is there any reason why you want to use a ltx for your goal other than cus you like it? I wouldnt worry about the HP goal as much as the 1/4 mile times if i were you. How fast is the turbo lambo?
At that power goal, I would go aftermarket SBC block or just make things easier on yourself and go BBC. NA w/ spray or a turbo will get you your 1200hp with either of them.
