I talked with Stefan last week and he cant make the Yellowbullet race either he has as work comitment but Tyree may show up at the shootout with his car for him.
We all want to see the car regardless of how it runs! Possible magazine shoot too. Would make a sweet cover with your car and Stefan's car side by side at the tree with a big bold 7's? in the middle. Are you at least going to do some test hits and take it from there? I mean if it looks real good to the 1/8th and no problems pop up, are you going to make a full run?

Nah, it was actually about all I can do to sponsor the event, travel, hotel and make the event while missing work and time with family. Entire deal will cost about $1000 so unfiortunately I will nbot be giving away any free camshafts, LOL.

I will be talking and chatting with anyone around and about the best I can do this time of year wlould be a Goldschlager or Jager-Bomb for the fastest ET of the day (not necesarrily in finals).

Anyone that cam should definiotely come and hang out the night before the race and of coarse after the race as well.

There is more to it than just what goes on at the track (and that is a BAD *** track!!!!!!).
If it was in feb/march it would be alot easier for alot of people I think, my work has slowed down alot, only getting about 12 hours of overtime a week now when I used to get 20-30. Feb/march is when I'll probably be giving you a call about some le1s. I'm looking forward to finally meeting all of you guys, been on the forums for 6 years and only met a couple people at MIR. Should be a fun event, but I will only be getting there at around 6am and will be racing hopped up on redbull and mountain dew then turning around after the races and driving back 6 hours to my cabin in Wv, if I don't break something.

Personally, I would recommend Montana Grille (http://www.facebook.com/MontanaGrille)

or Double Dogs http://www.doubledogs.biz/

Montana Grille is right next door to BW3, and Double Dogs is just up Scottsville Road, about a block.

I'm not really sure how either place handles large parties, or what kind of place you're looking for. Double Dogs is more of a sports bar. Montana Grille is more of a sit down kind of joint, but it's kind of a cool place, and has good food. I know they have a large room off to one side that you might be able to reserve.

There are a lot of places on Scottsville Road.

Hmm. I'm not sure I would say it's amazing. It's certainly no Vegas casino, but I would say it's a much nicer place than BW3.

I'm going to be home that weekend. Maybe I'll run into some of you guys, or make it to Beech Bend one day. Maybe I could get some volunteers to come by my brother's shop and finish up my car so I can take it off the jack stands and start driving it. Maybe Lloyd would be willing to come port my heads and throw in a camshaft. That should only take a few minutes, and my car isn't far off Scottsville Road.

What time do you guys go to eat after the races? Im gonna have to debate staying for a little to eat, or just hitting the road.

I'm going to bring up a few extra parts from my street car in case some people are interested.
BMR and Spohn full k-members upper and lowers a-arms for both.
Dig 6 and Dig 6AL two MSD opti's and two MSD dual plug coils.
Probably going to bring the Strange 12bolt and possibly my RPM T-56 if there is interest.

Sweet bring an extra long block too if you've got one that's what I anticipate breaking on mine

I don't think a 388 qualifies for street stock

Looks like I might be able to get some dyno time @ Holley on friday so things just might get serious on Saturday.
