forged eagle rotating assembly 355 with cc306 cam


more pics in a few, gotta upload sum stuff to my laptop!

I still don't understand why anyone would put a forged stock stroke crank???

well funny story is was gonna be just a stock rebuild with forged pistons but as i progressed thru the rebuild i kept runnin the bill up..
I bought pistons and then was like.. well.. i mean h beam rods would be great just one more check fk it. Well long story short, here we are with a forged bottom end

so parts started arriving..

first pistons showed up .30 over little lower than stock comp



then rods showed up eagle h-beam stock stoke


just messin around.. looks sweet!



crank showed up! eagle forged stock specs crank

now just a list goes on for the rest of the stuff ordered so lets get in it!

cam showed up cc306 oil pump and lifters



wires, heavy duty timing chain, and all my arp bolts


dual v.s. and misc. head pieces



1.6 rr from pro-form like that color

3in. cutout electric waterpump and harness.. regreted buying the jegs :/ swapping it out for a mezzy!!



stock heads ported by a man as old as time lol a good buddy of my gpas been porting heads for a living for long time at some shop @ houston



stock valves i know but their on! random pic



block came back from the local machine shop .30 over



putting the cam in after pressing the berrings in

best mod by far

sum valve covers we had from another build.. just for fun they wernt mine


stock wrinkle black v.c.'s ninja mode! fit fine on the 1.6 rr's





the beater..

got the new motor over and started putting it all together








ready to go!.. but it was fkn hot that day so it was bout quitin time

got about 2 months use outa my built 4l60e and then grenaded.. So now back to where we are in the present after loosing a job and getting back on my grind with another job and buying a daily.. im goin th350 i have my trans shell and b&m rebuild kit with red clutches but due to tickets having to be piad off my torque converter did not get ordered yet lol :/

but hey heres my umi th350 trans brace!

Are those seal pro pistons? Not a fan of the wrinkle paint but motor looks good and should be a great running car!

I don't always build engines
But when I do
I make sure its in a dusty garage with a box fan blowing on it lol
