Still Running in the car or Doin a Rebuild??? If its still running in the car Remove the Opti & proceed with Engine Degreaser followed by Mean Green Or Purple Power & a power washer LoL Whatever you do Dont get the OPTI wet IF your doin a Rebuild Then its the same proceedure But Dry the block/parts Quickly so they dont rust internally Compressed air helps A Lot Hope this Helps & it might sound a lil hillbilly/redneck But it works & if you dont have a power washer Go to the local car wash. Most dishwashers arent large enuff for blocks LMAO Transfer Case halfs Fit though LoL My Ole Lady is a Keeper & that one proves it Yup transfer case cleaned in her dishwasher LoL How many guys can do that Without a Divorce or Exiled to the Couch Hope my ramblin helps ya LoL

For the love of Christ do NOT use a power washer on a modern fuel injected engine.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Weird, I thought weatherpack connectors kept weather out! Since reading this breaking news on the internet, I'll be sure to never drive in the rain let alone hose down the engine bay!

Driving in the rain v. a 1500 psi power washer. Hmm. Seems like the same thing to me.

I didn't realize that there was a rating on the connectors AND that it is under 1500 psi AND that is what all power washers spray at. This site is great!

LOL... before I had the luxury of using a garden hose in my own driveway and when I cared about the engine bay appearance I was at the local car wash every Friday afternoon spraying the **** out of the engine bay to keep things chiney. Perahps that's why my **** runs like such carp.

Perhaps it's just a disclaimer for the general populace?
