Default Low fuel pressure?

i have a 94 camaro z28 with an a4. it stopped starting a few days ago. i rented a fuel pressure gauge and with the key on it went up to 20psi and while cranking is stayed there. i know with running it should be around 37-43psi. i only could test this once cause the tester broke but im goning to get another one and try it again. i feel like 20 psi is too low while cranking and it should be in the 37-43 pounds?

Yup, your fuel pump is done. Get a new one, cut the trap door, replace, done. Search "trap door method".

Before you jump to conclusions, and go the hassle of changing out the fuel pump, how old is your fuel FILTER?. It's a LOT easier and cheaper to try a new one of these first....and even if it turns out to be the pump, you'd want a new filter in there anyway.

I'm having some problems here too, have a new filter but Its having a harder time starting every day, now I have to turn the key back and forth a few times to build enough pressure to get it to fire.. I need to test it and see where it's at but I'm fearing il need a new pump

There is no need to "fear" it being the fuel pump, a walbro 255 is $106 shipped to your door, then all you need is a 4.5" angle grinder and a sheet of scrap with some zap screws to cover the hole when your done. 2 hour ordeal at most.

The filter was changed about a year and a half ago. Where is the best place to get a walbro 255 pump from.
