New PB et/60ft LE2 383
Slowly getting this thing worked out. The tune is still very rough and I have a alot of work to do on it. The DA was 1200 last night but I was only able to get 2 passes in before it started raining.
This suspension combination and 24x conversion only has 5 passes on it. It seems to be working well.
1st pass off the trailer:
1.535 60ft<-----New PB 60ft
4.537 330ft
7.110 1/8th
95.06mph
Video of that pass:
Since it hooked so well I added 1/2lb air pressure in the rear tires (275/60/15 mt DRs) and tightened up the rear shocks..Added 4* of timing since I the last pass only had 26* WOT
Evidently the air pressure was just a little to much adjustment because i got just a little wheel hop.
1.557 60ft
4.576 330ft
7.093 1/8th<------New PB E.T.
95.89 mph
Video of that pass:
The car is setup for nitrous so the rear tire and converter is isnt then Ideal for motor passes but im not going to complain for a tight 3600 converter I think with more tuning and finding the sweet spot in the suspension (while adding an Anti roll bar) it will go 6.85-6.90. It shifts at 6200 right now and need to bump my shifts up 300-400 rpm.
Setup:
12.6:1 383 on E85
LE2 stock ported heads
236/242 .568/.568 112LSA cam
4L60E, 3600 Circle D, 3.89 gears with a Quick performance 9" rear.
Weighs 3630
EFI connection 24x conversion

I haven't turned it loose on the bottle yet. Honestly the tune isn't close enough to spray it yet lol. But its all setup for it so I have a feeling its going to react really well to the nitrous. Im not sure If I will get a chance to spray it this year.
Eddyville raceway.
I Have a 6 point roll bar and SFCs. No air back. I have adjustable rear shocks and keep the right rear a little tighter then the left but it still rolls hard to the right. It really needs a drag bar.
And you did

Thanks! I know Joe, but after having the car completely torn apart this summer I felt more comfortable running it 1/8th mile passes at the moment. This track is 45 minutes away vs the 1/4 mile track 2 1/2 hours away.
Stock lines other then the speed inc relocation kit, mototron 60lb/hr injectors, walbro 255 with hotwire kit. I have a Aeromotive 340 sitting on the shelf but it hasn't shown to need it yet and probably won't since the nitrous has a dedicated system. I may throw it in for peace of mind.
Thanks guys
