3000 stall???

Default 3000 stall???

I have a 94z28a4with catback/headers/ypipe 373 gears, and wondering if a 3000 stall will be good because i found one brand new yank 3000 for 250.
Just wanting oppions

it'll be fun, restall when you want to go bigger or sell for same and step up.

You wont regret it, but most likey you'll want to go higher later down the road when you realize how much fun it is and how well it drives on the street.

I've been happy with my 3000 stall from yank, no need to go bigger for me.

If it's their 9-1/2" converter that they made before the "SS" series came out, get it. I ran that for a long time behind the stock LT1 and it was great. It will also do just fine with a mild cam if you're OK with giving up a tenth or two in ET.
If it's their 12" "Stealth" series, I'd pass and hold out for a good 9-1/2" or 10" unit.

Just make sure it is the right kind for your set up, ask Yank about it. I got a great deal on a used 3400 Yank a few years ago and bought it and it hurt more then helped. Turns out it was waaay wrong for my set up. Ordered a new one specked for my car and the difference was unbelievable.
