What cam?
Is it tuned?
Are you looking for that number at the tire?
How quick do you want to run at the strip?
Or is road racing your thing?
What is a
quick shift trans
?
Is the pcm reprogrammed?

Explain what a "quick shift transmission" is.

A full bolt-on car with good suspension, traction, hotcam, and good tuning should be able to run mid-low 12s assuming you have good DA and a have a good track.

The available Edelbrock intakes are NOT an upgrade, guys have made over 420rwhp with stock intakes just opened up for a 58mm TB.
That said if you do heads I would redo the cam. If you are going to put work into the heads why not give them some lift to work with.

This statement
quick shifter disc that normal
is gibberish.

You need a quality stall converter if you want an A4 car to be quick.

Guys have gone high 11s with probably only 320rwhp in very well setup light cars.

From the little you have said it sounds like you are very new to this and need to either slow down and wait awhile before you make mistakes or find a local mentor. Most guys are willing to help those less experienced IF the guy wil willing to be helped.

AI or LE heads ,1.6RR to bump the lift on your cam and a quality tune. Even with that, your current cam maybe to small to make your number at the wheels.

100 shot would put it in the ball park.

It's gibberish. The stall converter has absolutely NOTHING to do with how fast the transmission shifts.

The vocabulary and content of your posts do indicate that you are fairly new to this - no offense.

I would just refine your current combo. Don't fix what isn't broke.
