In 2010 I brought my Camaro down, and Larry from SpeedInc. and a couple other guys pretty much put my car together in the parking lot on the trailer until 3am.

2011 I drove my buddy's 95 z28 with the ls1 front end conversion in street stock. we found out later after bringing it home, that it ran a 13.2 on 5 cylinders.

When my car is finally done, I plan on running in the extreme street n/a class looking to take the title from Jeff (Badhawk) but I think I'll be lucky to have the car done by the end of 2013, I think it will be done for the 2014 Ltxshootout. And then a 1,700 mile trip to Bowling Green

I plan on finally trying to get down there this year. I don't know if i will run though, scared of the 10 bolt breaking and not having a trailer. If I can get ahold of a trailer then I will run. Glad to see that sponsors put up money this year, should hopefully draw more people.

I recommend trying the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel beer while you're in town. I had a few at Double Dogs when I was home for the holidays and it's actually pretty good. If you like Budweiser, Miller Lite etc., you'll probably hate it. It's also not cheap.

Yes, it does. I liked it, but it may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Haha no problem. I have a soft spot for LT1s with my first toy car having been one and I'm not afraid to defend them if somebody doesn't know what the hell they are talking about in terms of their performance potential.

Great question my man

My financial situation as a student back then wasn't where I wanted it to be, so I sold my 97 WS6 September of 2011 to put the money towards college. That final summer of owning it I was working 65-70hrs/week between two jobs to save up money and just never had time for it anymore. This year is my senior year, but I'll be taking this next fall off to do an internship. Then I have my final spring semester to graduate with a double major in Finance and Accounting.

So sometime May of 2014, I'll be graduated - $0 debt - I'll try to get a few paychecks in and I'll likely pick up a 98-02 WS6. I really want to repaint one Cyber Gray Metallic like my buddy has done here locally.

I have quite a few buddies from my hometown who are finishing up some pretty sweet builds and who will be getting into cars/builds here in the near future. I'm thinking I will likely do a turbo build like most of them and have a killer time with it.

I had a chance here recently to buy back my old 97 WS6, but after my friend who bought it from me, it has since been resold and since trashed in that short amount of time. Just wasn't worth the time and effort for me unfortunately. Hard to see a decently clean 97 WS6 go down like that

Great to hear from you, and hope all is well with you!

Haha yep, time goes by quick! I'm very blessed to have none between hard work by myself and my parents helping me out a bit along the way. Will definitely do the same for my future kids.

$450/mo isn't too bad. I have a buddy in my house who has $100k in student loan debt, and is going to grad school now...

Anyways, sorry to clutter up this thread. PM me if you want!

Can't wait to see the new best times for the classes!
