You still need to start? lol...we started about a month ago, but we all pitch in and work on each other cars. Four total that are getting major work right now, including my wife's '96 WS6, and two more waiting for less major stuff. One of those two is my black Z28.

Thanks. But its not a big deal to me. I put it together in 2002 and this is the first time I hurt it bad enough its needs come apart. I am thinking head gaskets and maybe a piston. Worst case it torched a head. And that's nothing a tig welded can't fix.

it been little down on power for awhile. i never was able to figure out why. so made a cam shaft change before the shoot out. when i was changing the springs. i had air bleeding out head a few head bolts. with no time to fix it i just put it together. i did 2 burn outs in the driveway before i loaded it in the trailer. left for bg the next night. first pass at bg and i was down on power for sure. only went 151.7 added some timing and is slowed down even more. so i just backed off the tune up and let ride for the rest of the race. i noticed some oil smoke out of the right bank when i started it the other week. so needless to say it has to come apart.
