She was fun to tune. Had about 5 hours of tuning time on her.

SD tune w/3Bar Map sensor working the old OBD1 CATS program = not much room on that little 105kpa map for 3bar , takes a little time to dial her in entering each cell by hand for the most part. Boost comes in quickly at 3800 Oooooooo. form 5psi to 20 psi in 1k rpms, gets a little harry

Here is the Graph she left the shop in.. 19psi little more conservative on the timing.

All in the name of horsepower !

Clint

Nice, glad to see what a stock LT1 can do, too many people jump the gun about how "BAD" the LT1 is, and its really not.

How much timing, I do around 27-30 on my boosted LT's, on a stock LB never played with one boosted so just curious?

that was a loooooooong time ago lol long long time ago, that motor is long gone lol.

this one is BONE stock besides a cam and better springs. never touched the bottom end, pulled heads to check piston tops then sealed her back up with stock rod bolts and head gaskets . . . .

i am just sick of hearing LS1 guys saying the LT1 is a pile of **** and wont take high boost or high power. now as far as i am now i cant say it has lasted, but so far so good no issues.

ALTHOUGH, today i pulled the trans to check out the clutch because of a goofy noise, and found the clutch is toasted . . . a F@#king twin disc got me a whopping 40 pulls and went to ****?????

so i bit the bullet and got a Coan pro 400. no more stick shift for me.

track opens the 13th of april so i have some work to do to convert to the auto. ill be back to the dyno for a retune and final dial in next week.

Mcleod rxt twin . . . . not sure what the hell happened but its toast . . . .
i really wasnt expecting to run the stick for very long so i figure going auto early cant hurt. cant go very fast and consistent with a stick and a big turbo anyways lol

So can i officially say i set a new record for highest hp on a stock long block with cam only?

the dyno graph above isnt my highest pull, thats the graph after we came down a bit and got it on a safe tune.

heres the 784/820 graph, not a ton of tuning was done on this pull, picked up a lot of power under the curve from this one.

Highest I have heard of, not many people ever really pushed the limits of a stock engine to be honest.

How much timing you running at WOT?

Awesome build, I wasn't expecting it when I opened this thread. Edit saw the 114, awesome seeing the Lt1 make these kinds of numbers.
