And a sweet hotcam. What's your compression? I bet 10.5:1. Be happy with mid 12s.

it ran a 12.6 with a 2.60 60 ft time with it spinning all the way down the track it needs a 12 bolt and set of good shocks so it can hook and it is easy a 11 second car and also it has custom ground lingenfelter cam a couple steps above a hot cam.

Alright I kept quiet, but I'm just LOL'ing now. So which is it? a "custom lingenfelter cam" or a hotcam? You talk like you're confident about what you have when it's obvious you don't have a damn clue about anything that you own. If you did, you wouldn't be taking advice from your retarded friend (who apparently is also a liar, or can't drive.. or both). It's obvious you're here trying to milk responses on what YOU want to hear so you can go mouth off to everyone locally that you've got a "low 11 second car" without even running it.. meanwhile you talk smack to 96caprice when he has managed to push a massive tank down the strip at mid 11's with videos and slips to prove it.

You can just stop talking now. Go make that video so the rest of us can have some entertainment of you running mid 13's.

[QUOTE=96capricemgr;17407879]mine is not a 383, are you ASSuming that or just trying to make **** up? I spent money on the topend instead of the bottomend because I UNDERSTAND how to make power.

a rough rule is .1 60ft equals .15(or more) at the other end which would suggest low 11s from your car IF the 2.6 and 12.6 were honest. I believe you believe that, I believe you were told that. Hell I would even believe your buddy was reading the wrong lane.
A mid 11 second car should 60ft a solid second better than what you posted not 1.8.

But take that 1.8 and apply the .1 equals .15 at the other end rule and you have 11.4 with a 1.8 60ft. BUT a 11.4 second car is likely to actually pull 1.5s.................
Your story doesn't add up.

If you want to run it I would hurry too, that Deltech is not particularly reliable and last I heard service parts were unavailable because the owner was ill.

You didn't mean to but you supported me with this statement. I didn't do anything but CHOOSE ACTUALLY GOOD PARTS and bolt them together competently. Meaning I actually have a clue what works. I screwed up a lot before I got it right but I eventually got it right because I LEARN FROM MISTAKES rather than blindly defend them as so many others do.[/]

I didn't support you. I never argued with you about if what you said is right or wrong. I said you were a dick and that you know a little and think you know a lot.

Should be more clear now.

You not an engine builder. Your am 11 second boat owner. Calm the hell down. Drink a beer or club a baby seal.

The OP is clearly not either, but all your doing us blowing people out of the forum.

You got your estimated times. Mid 12s at best. You didn't like it and now you're all whiney about it.

So is it just one "pretty good converter" in addition the stall? So now you have single exhaust? That is what is sounds like since "converter" was singular and you mentioned stall separately.

Far as the guy saying I am "blowing people out of the forum". The forums don't help anyone if we blindly praise inaccurate info and poor setups. I suspect this kid was LIED TO about the performance of the car. We have seen it happen MANY times here on this forum before.

I did not realize LPE did custom grind cams. I was always under the impression their cams were catered to their engine packages. Pretty sure LPE hasn't given two ***** about traditional SBC's or even LT1's since 1997. 93M6Formula, my apologies. You may be onto something...

that custom cam has worked very well for a mild cam for A LOT of guys.

If I were to spec a custom cam for that car though I might go something like 219/219.........................

LOL i had to delete my thread bc of what i have been reading. This guy is so full of it first off hes running a high 14 sec 1/4 from a 383? he/she talks **** to caprice saying once he gets his car fixed he can beat him lol i highly doubt a 15sec car is going to run low 11's when this he/she is driving it.
