Turbo 355 LT1 Rod Question.
Im in the process of building a turbo 355 lt1. The motor is in the machine shop now getting punched out. I spoke to JE today and I will be going with their JE turbo piston. I am planing to use the stock crank. My question is what rods should I go with to pull it together. The car is going to be more of a track car 99% of the time. Looking to make 600-700 hp or in there but nothing is set. Just want to get a good rod to handle the power. Thanks!

A cheap alternative to the nodular LT1 crank is the 1053 forged unit you can find in some heavy duty Vortec trucks, ZZ4 and other crate motors, along with the old C4 ZR1.

The Scat I-beams with the 7/16 cap screws are supposed to be pretty good for the money but I wouldn't mess with them if you plan on making 700whp. Do you mean 600-700 at the flywheel?
