is this on a stock lt1?

A little more details on what you want might help too. Not just sounding good.

You can use a 24in sweet thunder chambered muffler. You can also add two tiny bullet mufflers on your exiting tail pipes. Forget who makes them

Sweet thunder. Have it on mine and it sounds exactly like a GMMG without the price tag.

My dynomax bullet works great for the price. It's louder than I'd like but doesn't sound bad.

Dynomax bullet here, happy with the sound. It's still loud at WOT, but definitely toned down from the LM1.

I have the borla cat back and love the sound. I also like the ability to use a cutout with just bolts(no welding). My personal opinion about mufflers and tips is that if you aren't going to keep them polished just get something cheap, but if you like to keep them clean and shiny then go ahead and spend the coin.

You probably won't notice much of a difference. Get one that fits.

Get the longest you can without having to modify anything to make it fit within the given dimensions.

The LM1 resonator is about 18", get something close to that length.

Putting tail pipes that exit at the back bumper will change sound and volume. I'd put a 24in sweet thunder in the I-pipe then 1 18in on each tail pipe with some nice double rolled tips.
