Be advised that the last time I spoke to him, he was not taking new LT1 customers due to an overwhelming amount of tuning for LSx. Also be advised that it is nearly impossible to reach him so I suggest you have a plan B.
And yes he is a very good tuner and very well known in KY, WV, NC and TN.

Yes, he is hard to get in contact with but his reputation is hard to match. Since I am in Ky, It was him or Shortuning who is just as good. Unfortunately, my usual tuner took a job on the Lucas Oil race team and closed his shop.
Oh and I know James @ Shortuning isn't doing any LTx's. I too, last heard that Phil isn't either.

Sapper I am from Ky, Do you know if they will do lt1's running the 24x conversion? I am running an ls1 computer and have hptuners that I use to tune the car. WHere are they located in Ky. I am from Louisville. Thanks
There is or was a shop on east Broadway call Automotion and there is a guy who does dyno tuning that knows the LT1. I know this because I grilled him prior to finding Phil. Don't remember his name.
We are located in Columbia, KY.
James is a friend of mine, and he is an awesome tuner. He is also a sponsor on here, I suggest you get a hold of him. He tuned my C5. Couldnt ask for better.
However, I have heard nothing but good things about Bluecat.

Bluecat tuned my LT1 Impala SS. Is an awesome tuner. And so is James Short. And everyone is right Bluecat nor James are taking any new LT1 cars. The only reason Bluecat will still tune mine is because I am trying to break my record of the fastest stock casting head, LT1 intake, opti and stock tuned PCM BBody in the country. Looking for 9.7's this year at a weight of 4200 lbs. if u had the 24x conversion then either one would tune it. I am doing the swap this winter. Good luck.
