Power Master makes a 200 amp alternator for 4th gens. Our alternators are are the CS144 GM style casing. Just Goggle LT1 200 amp alternator and you should see several companies offering these. They aren't cheap by any means, about $375 minimum for plan finish more for polished or chrome.

Later ... Larry S.

The police package b-bodies were 135-140amp which might be enough unless the stereo is huge.

Sorry I should have given more info, I'm building a twin turbo LT1 while keeping all accessories (ac, power windows, locks and stereo) plus I'm adding a second fuel pump, dual fans on the fmic, ewp, trunk mounted battery and and a B&M oil cooler with built in fan. I'm also going to be running water/meth, nitrous and a trans pump for my m6, that's why I need a more powerful altenator to handle the demands, thanks for the links guys.

Yea I can tell you the stocker will not handle it.

I have a EWP, turbo oil drain pump, two fans for radiator, and a ATF fan cooler.. at idle it drains the battery.

Will be getting an alternator from the first link I posted.

FYI... Don't go with the powerbastard ones.... I went with one of their "240" amp ones and all I got was a chrome powder coated stock 140 amp that wasn't assembled right and failed

If you think you need extra cooling fans why are you going with an electric waterpump? The mechanical moves more water at cruise speeds and higher. A stewart on demand electric inline with the mechanical would be a better way to deal with idle heat because the mechanical can push past it and you get the high coolant flow at idle of an electric without sacrificing mid and high rpm flow like electrics do.

This would also reduce continuous load on the alternator.

He is putting fans on a intercooler which last time I checked is rather independent of the engine water pump
