I am very happy with Edge myself, but at the same time I believe in working through problems, it can be hard to figure out what was going on when you change direction too often.

Ok so I got the 96' PCM and the odb2 ALDL pig tail. I know I have to get a odb2 knock sensor, but what do I have to do in order for the ALDL to function properly? Ed? Shbox? Anyone?

Where is the class 2 data wire located and how does it look?
**Edit** I found it. It's in the Blue connector on the PCM PIN number 7...

My '96 factory shop manual is loaned out. Have a call into him, no response yet. Glad you found it. My '95 test mule had that wire from the PCM, to the connector inside the car. Just not the inside harness. I'm guessing the '94 may not have it. If you have something you have stopped using (AIR or EGR?) you could maybe rob that wire, move it to the needed position in the PCM connector to run it inside.
