Figured id start new thread. It went 7.04@96 1.53 60ft. The da was 1500. Im currently on stock rear with 3.42s and 28s. This was the 2nd time out with the new motor. Hopefully it will go 6.8s with new rear with 3.70s and dyno tune.

That thing would be a killer in a 7.0 index class. Maybe move the timing around to adjust to conditions. Im hoping my car does that on the bottle stock bottom end.

What converter do you have and do you know what your race weight is? Just curious what the rest of your build looks like. Just got my 355 dynoed and made 423 HP and 368 ft lbs of torque at the wheels. Was hoping for a et slip that looks like yours.

It would be interesting to see what the thing does on the dyno or at least the shape of the torque curve. That thing has got to love rpm. My stock castings are just over 180 cc and peaks power at 6700 with a 228 @ .050 intake lobe. Can you buzz it harder than 6800 or does the valve train crap the bed shortly after?

Yea sorry didn't think about you might be on factory lt1 pcm. I just got back from the track now. Mine with 4.10 will go thru the traps at 6800-6900 in 3rd. I couldn't hook to save my life on that track. First pass picked the front tires up prolly 4 inches and sat down and spun shifted to second then back to first and went a 7.70. 1.70 60 ft was the best of the night.
