It's not bolted in. Just the cover is held on with bolts. Grab a pliers and pull it out, it's just held in by the gasket lol

You are going to use an easy-out for that one, probably with some heat. It may have to be drilled out and tapped again.

You could try cutting a slit in it with a Dremel or cut off wheel then back it out with a screw driver and some heat.

After hitting the housing with a little heat, touch an old candle to the head of the broken bolt. The wax will melt and wick into the threads, and act as a lubricant.

This simple trick works wonders.

well I drilled it a bit and that sucker just didnt want to come off and I end up making things worst. Ill just buy an used water pump from the local yard since I already have a electric water pump in place. For the moment I put the housing into the water pump with JB weld. I know is a ghetto fix and it wont old at all but the car wont be running at all and I just want to see if it helds a little or not lol just testing the waters.

Same thing happened to me a couple years ago, drilled a small hole and used a type of easy out.

Same thing happened to the one on my civic. I tried drilling it out like I have done many other times with broken bolts. Started with small bits and tried with my extractor set. Guess what? Didn't work. Had to keep drilling with bigger bits but they were snapping. Ended up braking the ear off the bolt hole. Had to locate a t stat housing at a junk yard. You might have to do the same thing. But I strongly advise you do not ghetto rig this sort of thing lol
