So I got it on the lift today the exhaust leak is fixed now. But it's gay because they have the headers both ran into one then back to the muffler with 2 exhaust tips coming out the muffler. Pisses me off.

A. Edelbrock shorties (which you have) are emissions compliant, very very slightly better than stock, aftermarket headers. They flow into the stock tiny Y pipe, under the motor, to a merge, to a cat, 2.75" I pipe to a muffler, then split out the back. That setup is a choke point on a stock motor, and long tubes with a 3" Y pipe to a 3" I pipe to a flow through muffler like magnaflow or borla can pick up 25rwhp over a stock setup, or your setup. On your setup you would probably see more than 25hp gained, more like 40-50 because of all that air that supercharger is shoving in cannot get out of the way fast enough through that exhaust. Your setup is the only one that would pass Cali emissions, that's why it is there, but you are not in Cali anymore so get rid of them.

2. Stating that you "are a ford guy" or "don't like Chevy" shows blind brand loyalty sheep mentality and makes you look like an idiot, backed up with you blaming not telling if they are aftermarket headers on "I'm not a chevy guy" when any person who knows anything about cars knows any cast iron manifolds are stock. When something is better than another thing just admit it, ford engines up until the cayote were anemic low hp pigs that couldn't make **** for power without forced induction because they had **** cylinder head design. Just because you don't understand something doesn't make it wrong, backed up by your "this is gay" comment.

I am sure he is used to seeing the stock tubular exhaust manifold on mustang 5.0 which pass as a"factory header" sort of... I would fix what you have to on the car to get what you have working properly, obviously if you have to replace something big (expensive) than consider where you will go with this in the future and buy the item with that in mind,. That paxton setup will be similar to the 5.0 setup.. limited by lack of intercooler or aftercooler, run premium,, see what you have then as stated plan for upgrades with or without the s/c....
cool old school though

Not on a '96.

There are no collectors on the Edelbrocks for the OBDII headers. I don't know what makes them "slightly better" than the stock manifolds. If anything they're either the same or worse.

Not if those round tube thingies are fed straight back into stock sized round thingies that do not accommodate for round tube thingie-like flow! Get on with your bad pink screen name, man-crush.
